| | | Unknown Red Berries Can anyone identify a tree I have. For the first time it has produced Red berries and I am trying to find out what they are and if they are toxic. Whilst the dogs may not eat them my grand child might. Dave |

If not, Mountain Ash is producing bright red berries at the moment - Google that for pics for starters?

| | | Re: Unknown Red Berries Iamge file size to large for upload. Checked Mountain Ash. The tree I have has single red berries about the size of a large peanut. Have a stone inside about the size of a small peanut. Will take some more pics at a lower setting.Dave |

| | | Re: Unknown Red Berries Hi Dave,
If you've got the pic into the Image Library you just need to click on the Library Images camera icon, bottom right of the Reply box, and that'll bring up a window with your images held there. Click on the one you want to put in your post and the code for it should appear in the reply box,
Good luck,
Rob

| | | Re: Unknown Red Berries Rob, many thanks. Looks to be the right tree, just eaten a berry. Tastes like a sweet cherry. Not feeling any ill affects (just kidding). Once again many thanks for your time. Have a good bank holiday. Dave |
