the leaves.. 
Sorry they are a bit blurred I left my macro lens on.
the fruit was about the same size as a Kiwi fruit but I think it might be a nut possibly walnut..
And under the leaves were these things white blobs with tiny spiders possibly garden spiders..not a clue.

I think the pink flowered ones often have spineless outers.

| | | Re: What Tree ID.. It's actually Red Horse-chestnut, Aesculus x carnea - the leaves tend to be smaller than in the common species, but the distinctive feature is the fruits without spikes (and of course in spring, the red flowers  ) |
