Tree ID needed please

Hi people. I've been trying to see which species are found around the local area. I believe that the tree in question (see photos) is one of the limes, but I'm not sure which (if it is) as it appears to have more (and smaller) fruits than any of the species I've seen. Any tree specialists out there who may be able to shed some light would be much appreciated.

looks a bit like Hazel to me. But no expert I'm afraid

It is a lime , but I don't recognise it.. that pale under leaf must be a clue!

It could be that your tree is Silver Lime, Tilia tomentosa, which is the nearest I can find to your picture, but I have no special knowledge of lime trees.

There are pictures on the web if you search around.
