Beautiful blossom....

Hi all,

I thought the Blossom on this tree was beautiful, so took a few pics....
I'm a bit though, coz I'm not sure which species of tree it belongs to!
Help!!



With all the blossom around ATM, I think it would be nice to have a thread dedicated to it! (sorry if it's already been done before)

Great idea for a thread. I think your tree is one of the cherries. I saw a report about the British Apple trees declining and they were encouraging us to plant some inthe garden to keep the variants and species going. I'll check the archives for some photos

I think your Berberis is Berberis x. stenophylla. We have it in the garden as well

Our bird cherry is flowering nicely.

Thanks for id KT its lovely it about 15 ft tall now I didn't know they grew that big.
The bees and sparrows love it.

Our apple tree is totally covered by it. In fact, in the 9 years I've lived in this house I haven't seen it so full of blossom.

Is it me or does there seem to be more blossom everywhere this year?
