Unidentified poplar
Hi there,
Here's a tree that I saw last year, growing not far from a stream. I think it's a poplar but not I'm not sure which one.Any ideas please?

Lombardy Poplar is actually a hybridised Black Poplar (Populus Nigra) and Lombardy Poplar is (Populus nigra "Italica") so in a way they are the same thing depending on where you see it.
