| | | Re: Books About Trees Trees of Britain and Northern Europe
by Alan Mitchel
Used to be the bible - but I see ithas gone out of print,
though lots of second hands ones.
Perhaps that is because
Collins Tree Guide (Paperback)
by Owen Johnson
has taken over ??
Mitchell is fairly easy to use, but it does require keying out
though much sumpler than Rose for flowers.
I've just bought the 2nd book, but not used it in anger yet
but glancing at it it does seem much easier than Mitchel
Trees in Britain, Europe and North America by Roger Phillips
is by a long way the easiest to use of the one I have.
It is basically wall-paper matchin, with excellent photos
tkane in a studio showing the relevfant bits. | | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
