| | Rowan Tree I hold my hands up and admit I know nothing about trees
But, if the Rowan is a native tree why are there so few around? |

| | | Re: Rowan Tree Hmmmm I have only ever seen one in my town. I have just brought a young tree to add to my mums garden. Hope she doesn't mind I was suprised at how cheap they are to buy.
I think everyone should have one in their garden, maybe we could then get the Waxwings to take residence
Thanks for your reply |

| | | Re: Rowan Tree The Rowan Tree's one of my favourite tree's after seeing thousands of them a few years back on the Isle of Skye on a three week wild camping trip. Everywhere we turned would be a spectacular example of a Rowan tree. As It's my favourite tree I'm looking for them all the time and there's no shortage of them down in the South. Aquarian People are drawn to them apparently. |

Two types of Rowan I know of are Rowan (Sorbus aucuparia) & the white berried Hupeh Rowan of China (Sorbus hupehensis). Those are the only two I'm aware of, but there are indeed more trees belonging to the Sorbus family!
