| | | Re: tree id needed Looks like a Laburnum: trifoliate leaves and fruit in pods. If it is all parts of the plant are poisonous. There are two species, and their hybrid, which are widely planted in Britain and some certainly set seed. |

| | | Re: tree id needed i can't remember if i've seen this tree in bloom ,but in another part of my forest there is a laburnam tree that has yellow flowers and seed pods ,must have been the absence of the blossom that threw me!!....thanks guys!!!

| | | Re: tree id needed Seed pods are poisonous, if I remember right I think most of this tree is poisonous. It's really attractive when it's in flower. Didn't know it was good to carve.

| | | Re: tree id needed seen penny whistles made out of willow, amazing way it was done ,cut a peice then tap around it to slip the bark off,then carve a mouthpiece out of the naked stick,put that into the bark tube then cut the holes in it ...remarkable!!!
