Help identifying a tree

Hi can anyone identify this tree for me? I thought maybe it was an Alder but I'm not sure - we only have one of these in the garden and I've never seen any fruit on it

Your clear pics show it is a type of Salix , one of the willow species.

I do have a picture showing the whole tree. Would this be of any use? Also what could be causing the small yellow bumps which have been appearing on all of the leaves?

From the first photo it looks like a salix to me too. The bumps could be a type of gall.

I think the yellow spots would be a type of rust fungus. I have seen this occur on certain willow species before.
Looking at the pics you have where the leaves have expanded it looks like your willow is a type of Goat Willow.
