Advice for blossom tree

Hello
I'm not very good on trees and am after a new blossom tree to put in the corner of our garden. I'm getting loads of birds on the feeders but have noticed them hanging around neighbours blossom trees searching out various insects and nibbling the buds. I was wondering if anyone might be able to suggest a particular species for me to put in. I'm after something with a nice decorative flower and without thorns or poisonous fruit, etc

My prunus serrula attracted a few birds and was very very pretty. My plum tree attracts bullfinches and has tits all over it, however, the most bird- sought one in our garden is a large hawthorn. It's a pink flowered variety and was planted before I arrived but it's always covered in birds, bees, hoverflies and butterflies. Defo worth considering
