ID for two shrubs/trees?

Hi,

I've taken many pictures of these two trees/shrubs on my daily dog walks, but I've no idea what they are. Can anyone help identify them so that I can catalogue my photos correctly?

Not sure on the first, but the second is a Pine, probably Scots Pine.

how about cherry laurel for the first?

Thanks for the ID of the Scots Pine. I've since looked it up on Google, and it looks about right to me. As for the first one, from what I can find, it seems to be some sort of Willow?

The first one doesn't look like pussy or goat willow.
I think you need a more detailed pic..

Going by an image I've just found on Google, for Crack Willow, I'd dare wager that you are spot on too. Thanks ever so much. My photo cataloguing is now entirely up to date!

Need to be careful ... pine, Pinus sp, most likely but I don't think there's enough detail here. One thing to keep in mind is that the dwarf Mediterranean pine, Pinus mugo, is widely planted so fairly mature shrubs that aren't more than 2m high are quite likely to be that. How tall is this?

I'll take a better shot of it tomorrow. From memory, I think it is more shrub-like than tree, but I need to be sure tomorrow. (I see them daily, yet take such little notice of them.)

It'll drive me nuts if I have it catalogued incorrectly.
