| | | What Tree Is This? Hi,
I'm doing an "Adopt A Tree" assignment, but the tree I chose to adopt is one that I can't identify!
Here is a picture of my tree:
And here is a closer picture of the kind of leaf that is on my tree:
Any help with this is appreciated! Thanks in advance.

| | | Re: What Tree Is This? Hi Evergreen, First I thought it might be an evergreen Magnolia like M. grandiflora, then thought it maybe a cherry laurel ( prunus laurocerasus) a variety known as 'Bruantii' looks close but still not sure.
Good Luck with the assignment. Tbird+ |

| | | Re: What Tree Is This? I don't think a cherry laurel ... what are all the little white bobbles on the overview? In what part of the country is this? Could be helpful! |

| | | Re: What Tree Is This? Looks like Chinese Privet, Ligustrum lucidum, which is not that uncommon in London as an ornamental tree. It does well on dry +compacted soil, is tolerant of pollution. |
