I saw one in the grounds of Muncaster Castle, when I looked up I couldn't see the top. I thought I was pushing it with a sycamore  I doubt either of ours will get very large if they are in pots - phew  . |

I've got around 6 Oak, 2 Beech, a Dog Rose and a Hazel in pots in the garden, growing them is easy it's just findig somewhere to put them which is the hard thing  | hi i do that too,i have silver birch 2 of, oak but i am not sure about this one cos all the leaves have fell off now,holly,horse chestnut and something else but without looking at it i cant remember as its outside and i am not,but they are all in big pots thats a way of growing trees without the root trouble and height. |

Hi Goosey unfortunately sicimore in england isn't very beneficial to our wildlife it will house but a few birds and insects etc in comparrison to our oaks they will host thousands. But a tree is still animated and living and gives us oxygen so i'd still go about planting her!
