Hi Guys,

I've just moved into a house in Norwich which has a pretty big garden, with a whole lot of trees and shubs in. Now there are few people in the world who know less about trees and plants than me. I like a nice tidy garden, I can cut grass and do all that stuff but I would like to know the names of the trees and shrubs I have. I', sure any of you could iddentify them immediately from the leaves or whatever, I'm not suggesting that they're something rare. I' sure they're not. Could I email photo's of leaves or and the trees themselves to any of you to give me a hand in this one.

Hi ray, welcome to the forums. If you're free there's a Springwatch event in Chapelfield gardens in Norwich on Saturday, and there's bound to be someone there who could identify any leaves you brought along. (I'll be on the Butterfly Conservation stall - but I can't do plants I fear - buttercup and daisy's my limit)
