Yeterday we ended up in an area of flooding. we were not far north of Gloucester near a village called Ashleworth. The area is part of the Severn Flood plain and therefore is subject to a bit more water than most places. However, driving along the road to the area we were intending going to I came across this very apt sign.

Perfectly illustrated John .
I remember some years ago on one of my winter holidays in the Scottish Highlands seeing a sign saying "Unsuitable for caravans" at the entrance to a minor road .... it was surrounded by snow drifts and the road was not visible at all let alone passable to any vehicle!
Unfortunately I had no camera to record the moment but I have been past that point many times and always remembered the sight.
