| | | In my dreams This week I have had, amongst others, two memorable dreams.
1) I dreamt of a really beautiful moth and could not wait to tell Oscar about it. When I woke I looked in my book and could not find it. I was not very happy even though it would not have constituted a real sighting.
2) Despite putting new batteries in my head torch a week ago the beam was low and the batteries seemed duff. When I woke, the batteries were infact fine.
What do these dreams say about me? |

1) To see a moth in your dream, indicates that unseen irritations and damage will not surface until it is too late. It is important to pay attention to minor details and not overlook things or others. Alternatively, the moth may symbolize your weaknesses and character flaws.
2) To see a torch in your dream, represent self confidence, ability to succeed, or spiritual confidence.
To dream that you are carrying a lit torch, symbolizes love. The dream may be a metaphor that you are literally carrying a torch for someone.
Hope this helps You

By the way I have a recurring dream about infinite numbers of penguins , the short version being that I cant get into my office due to it being full of an infinite number of penguins - as a variation sometimes it is just my filing cabinet which is full
I also dreamt that i was being pursued arround the house by a dragon the othernight - I was saved from certain doom when the dragon was first squashed then eaten by an enourmouse white and Brown Rat
any thoughts on what that says about me - other than that i'm a bit strange

To see a penguin in your dream, signifies that your problems are not as serious as you may think. It serves as a reminder for you to keep you cool and remain level-headed. Alternatively, a penguin seen in your dream suggests that you are being weighed down by your emotions or by a negative situation. You need to find some balance and inner harmony.
To see a file cabinet in your dream, suggests that you need to keep your facts and information straight. The file cabinet may also represent the memories or unnecessary details you keep stored in your mind and need to retrieve from time to time.
To dream that the drawers of the file cabinet are wide open, denotes your openness toward other viewpoints, opinions, suggestions, and criticism.
To dream that the file cabinet is locked, indicates that there is something that you do not want revealed to others. Alternatively, it may indicate that you are being close-minded.
To see a dragon in your dream, signifies that you tend to let yourself get carried away by your passion. This kind of behavior may lead you into trouble. You need to exercise some self-control.
In the eastern cultures, dragons are seen as spiritual creatures symbolizing good luck and fortune.
To dream that you are a dragon and breathing fire and everyone, suggests that you are using your anger to get your own way.
To see rats in your dream, signifies feelings of doubts, guilt and/or envy. You are having unworthy thoughts that you are keeping to yourself but are eating you up inside. Alternatively, it denotes repulsion. The dream may also be a pun on someone who is a rat.
To see a Black Rat, represents deceit and covert activities.
To see a white rat in your dream, denotes that in your time of distress, you will receive assistance from an unexpected source.
To dream that a rat is biting your feet, symbolizes the rat race that you are experiencing in your waking life. |

(National moth night, decided to kip about 03:00 - see seperate thread posted by Fourwings) There were Daddy-long legs, trouser coughs and mice everywhere apparently. Was I bovvered? I was tucked up in my sleeping bag, covered up and "driving home the piggys" within seconds.
Nah snakes don't worry me - other than those slimey Bar-stewards that try and rip off the old folks and the like.
