I have my reservations about it as it is going into the unknown.. I think it needs a lot more research and information.
Yet where would we be now if people hadn't taken risks over the years..
Cancer reseach, IVF, Penicilin, organ transplants to name a few!
If they find any major problems or dangers the Idea will be binned, so I will wait and see what happens. |

| | | Re: Human genes in Plants I heard some comment on this news report in the car this morning but thought I must have misunderstood. Clearly not. I have a very bad feeling about this - mixing plant genes is one thing, but including human genes in plants is a real leap into the dark. It hasn't yet been finally approved, I gather, but it looks as though it will be.
