| | | I am on TV this week :-) :-)
Some of you may recall my recent posts on the Kingfishers in my local area. I was recently lucky enough to be a field assistant on a small BBC film for inside out west. The film has been shot and produced by Richard Taylor Jones who also produces the Natures Calendar. I was lucky to be able to help in the hide, spot kingfishers and also filmed some wide angles of Richard filming the Kingfishers. I was unable to get any stills from the hide as it was just not possible for me but the shots Richard got on the BIG BBC camera are amazing. For anyone who lives in the West it will be airing this Friday on Inside out West on BBC 1 (Check but im sure this is the right channel) Im also asked some questions about what I have seen on the river ie Kingfishers so you get to see my ugly mug on the box lol !. The film also has some Fox and Badger stories and is a really great little film and the kingfisher in my view is the star of the show. If anyone is based in the west tune on in
Thanks

Its great people will get to see it on the inside out west website, its a great little film. I doubt I will ever be famous, on the prog I am asked if I have seen kingfishers in a short interview on the river bank, I look like a cross between Fred dibnah and stig of the dump so I think that rules out the fame option hahahahah. I would also prefer to be behind the camera in a hide and that way I could stay my alter ego Harimau1610 harimau |

I think you can still watch the prog once it has aired on the inside out west website BBC Inside Out - Its worth it to see the Kingfisher shots.
Thanks
