| | | Wild life holidays in Scotland For the time being, we are unable to travel abroad, and thought that a wildlife holiday in Scotland might be worth considering. We don't drive, so would pretty much have to go for something organised. We have looked briefly at the link to McKinlay Kidd, but wonder if any WABers can recommend, or otherwise, any alternatives.
Thanks

I visit the Scottish Highlands and Islands at least once a year .... fortunately with a car which makes the itinerary much more flexible.
You may wish to look at Speyside Wildlife for organised trips.
Best of luck with what ever you choose. A wildlife holiday in Scotland is guaranteed to be rewarding.

| | | Re: Wild life holidays in Scotland the rothiemurcus estate is worth a look , they do wildlife tours by landrover and have heated hides and stuff for Badgers , pine martins etc - i think they can pick you up from the station at aviemore also Rothiemurchus Estate in the Highlands of Scotland
alternatively aigas feild centre , near inverness would be an option , again they do tours and have hides etc - they also have a Beaver pair living semi wild , and again i think staff will pick you up and drop you off at local stations - they also have a hire car for day trips if you can drive but dont have a vehicle Aigas Field Centre - Sharing the Wonders of the Wild Highlands
