WAB Pack of cards

Jennywrenny, Nettle Runner and I paid a visit to Clumber Park this afternoon and wondered if we would come across FungiJohn and co as we know it is one of his favourite haunts. As usual we were discussing the old chestnut of how we would know if we saw him. Now I know this has been discussed at length on the WAB badge thread (members having badges on etc) but we thought it may be amusing if WAB did what the US army did in Iraq and produce a set of playing cards with members pictures on so they could be recognised in the field.

But who would be what card???

We did think StuartDH could be the top card - Ace of spades (assuming ace high)

Being a Duke I must have a picture card

We also thought of someone to be the joker

Would anybody care to nominate themselves or someone else to be a certain card

nominate myself as Deuce of Spades. I always seem to be in the mire.

Re: WAB Pack of cards

We had better be careful who we nominate as Queen.

I know who to me is a diamond. Badgerwatcher with her lovely way with words and her calming influence on any thread she takes part in.

Re: WAB Pack of cards

I'll be jack of hearts then .... the reasoning being obvious

and I think we all know who the joker ought to be

Re: WAB Pack of cards

Four of spades for me, I think. Apparently that signifies "Rest and retreat. Decisions made in calm." Well, I can aspire!
