Web site running slow

The only slowness I get is when I click on an email link and then it takes ages to get the post but after that it's quite fast

I'm on IE6 Stu, pageloads today are between 7 and 15 seconds for full page load, which is quick compared to what I was getting before Christmas. My broadband speeds tend to be about the same time to load as the superjanet links from work.

Not wanting to add to your problems Stu, but I've noticed that "Today/Yesterday" isn't showing in the Last Post column, just the date.

An oldie like me doesn't always know the date, just today and yesterday

Still 7 - 15 seconds today Stu, so a consistent improvement and one that now makes browsing the forums quite acceptable - thanks for your work on this.

Tursiops, the today/yesterday is a setting within Vbulletin which has just been changed within the admin section. It's probably deliberate as it gives more clear information with a date/time stamp.

The today/yesterday setting was switched off as one of about 15-20 settings that apparently slow down the forums a bit. It probably doesn't make anything more than an 'n'th of a second difference whether it's on or not, so we'll switch it back on again, but if it suddenly goes slow again it's Tursiops fault
