Jeremy Clarkson Shocker!!

Ok so im not into cars at all...i want an old green landy ! but....I do love the humour and chemistry between Jeremy clarkson, Hammond and the other one on top gear !
I think it was new series tonight ...anyway they showed Hammys high speed crash...rather horrible....but....during the interview with Jamie Oliver about growing food and stuff...Jeremy said

" I grew a field of barley at my house and i didnt use fertilizer to be green and it all came up short and grey"

"Why the hell were you growing barley "...says Oliver


"Hmm...well...(Covers mouth to muffle words) It was to attract a certain species of bird...im a bit of a birder..Im an rspb member !"....says clarkson !

I love him anyway but more so now...and i NEVER thought he would admit to being a birder which in many eyes is as uncool as owning a caravan ! and we all know how he feels about those ha ha

perhaps we will see a special birding edition of top gear "now this questar is a nice little mover 20-50x in less that a second.... thwoaaaar " also featuring a star with a reasonably priced scope, richard hammond sky diving in a race earthwards with a peregrine, and the stig out on a twitch trying to get to fair isle before the lesser puffle twitcher flies away

He did once eat a marinated ortolan bunting in France though and hid himself under a towel so as not to incriminate himself (which is the done thing when eating ortolan in France as its illegal) They are illegal to catch prepare and serve

talking of such things i was disgusted to see in the observer food monthly special thing a recipe for cooking puffins

its doubtful that dan is fat enough - although we could keep him in a barrel for a couple of weeks while we force fed him to fatten him up - but we might be better of marinating him in a vat of cider before stewing him slowly for 24hours *evil grins back atcha*

just promise me you'll eat the liver - then their sacrafice wont be in vain

(for those that dont know dogs liver contains a near lethal dose of vit a , many arctic explorers came to greif this way through eating thier sled dogs when food ran out)

I've always thought that Clarkson was secretly a bit keen on wildlife and the enviornment, he just doesn't like the ecomentalists spouting looney policies and telling him what to do. I think he'd even happily drive a green car, as long as it could perform as well as a petrol.

The only problem is that some ne'er-do-wells take his criticisms about environmentalists as gospel and they don't always understand that he's often saying things tongue-in-cheek or playing the devil's advocate. I've never thought for one minute that he actually believes his own hype and would want every patch of green turned into a dual carriageway.

In fact, I've heard that he loves nothing more than to feel the breeze as he skips through local meadows wearing just a flower in his hair.
