A question to the techical boffins; how come when I go to upload an animated image I am told that I can't upload animated images - but other people on here have them?
It is quite an innocuous little thing that I want to have.

I'd imagine it is like most things that are there for everyones benefit one minute, then not...
They are open to abuse, so the rules change and even the innocuous ones suffer  |

what happens if you just paste the link above into your avatar space rather than trying to upload the gif ?
