I mapped out a wild area last summer and told the guy who helps in our garden that I did not want that bit mowed. Of course, Other Half (who I had also told, but who does not listen to a word I say), decided in the middle of summer that it looked untidy and told our guy to mow it  I did not find out until after the event
This year, woe betide anyone who mows my wild area!

Jenny | Thanks Jenny nice to be back wish I could get out on my bike though to go for some walks with the camera.I am going stir crazy here  Hubby to busy with the housework I cant do at the moment so no lawnmowers yet.Only the hoover

Jenny | Ahh been married for 34 years he is well trained  Joking aside he has always been good like that he does the meals at the weekends.He has also been my rock over the years with a lot of family losses and my ill health.He is one of the best(even if he does irritate the heck outa me with the flicking of the remote control

| | | Re: Wildlife Gardening info Nice little cd with the magazine more than makes up for the disapointing wildlife section. I was hoping for a lot more from them.
The disc contains 180+ items in alphabetical order as well as little tips such as leave a rotting log for butterfly laying or what plants to naturalise in your lawn. Very intersting.
