| | | AOL Enough already After the barrage of bad postings on AOL and the fact that my PC went down on me last night - had to totally re-format the hard drive, I have to say it has got my goat.
I spend 42 nicker a month but do get free UK phone calls.
Can anyone suggest an alternative supplier. Having just reformatted the hard drive it won't break my heart to do it again to get rid of AOL once and for all. At present I get 2 Mbytes and as I said free UK calls, so it is good for work but one can't help but think that last nights little pantomine may be because of a glitch in the system hence I need to make the move to another provider sooner rather than later.
Any suggestions? One with wireless would be good.
Cheers

Check out Tiscali, I've been with them for around 10 months or so and so far they have been brilliant, the deals change all the time so check out www.tiscali.co.uk
I think they are great value for money. |

| | | Re: AOL Enough already I run on pipex and haven't really had any problems with them, except that it took them about 3/4 months to upgrade my account to 1Mb and £24/month I'm probably paying over the odds.
Have a look at some of the comparisons at www.uswitch.com if you need info on price and features for most of the big broadband suppliers |

| | | Re: AOL Enough already I just remebered, don't cancel your AOL before getting your new supplier. Instead, get the new supplier to make the transfer for you or you'll be left without broadband for at least a couple of weeks. Apparently, it's not possible for you to stop using one day, then starting using another one a day later unless they do the transfer ??? | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
