Many thanks guys for your kind comments.
I had not even realised that another milestone had been reached .... my computer does not do bells and whistles  .
I would have got to 1000 sooner but a major broadband problem during November and early December knocked my relentless pace .
I still struggle to recall how I found WAB back in February of last year but I am so glad that I did. This just has to be the friendliest and most knowledgeable forum on the Internet. I have learnt so much and hopefully contributed something of interest too.
Also, I do not think that I can let this moment pass by not recognising the huge contribution that goes on behind the scenes to ensure the continuing and growing success of WAB .
I have 2 New Year resolutions ....
(a) to submit some of my photos more regularly .... assuming the sun eventually does appear again .
(b) to meet some of you on some of those WAB meets .... assuming you will have me .
I think this is my 1014th post so I am well on the way to 2000 .

Congrats Rich on becoming our newest Commander. Hopefully we will meet up soon on one of the meets that are in the pipeline.
