Margerine for birds?

Hi, I have a couple of out of date pots of margerine. I was about to bin them when I wondered if they would be ok to put out for the birds. What do you think? Just thrown out a bunch of grapes for the blackies. Should I put out bread too?.. grape sandwiches mr blackbird?

Try it - perhaps in small doses. Margerine is pretty harmless but too much of anything greasy might upset their intestines. Yes, why not on sandwiches?

Depends on the marg, some have a lot of additives / salt etc that I wouldn't think would be very good for the birds. Foxy might like it though.
