Rather than paint it, you could always cover it with a camouflaged lens cover and use the velcro straps to ventilate it in hot weather.

Too big for my garden... but if they find a way to shrink them to a suitable size I could really do with one

PS...could I have one in rainbow colours like those tiny fabric windmills.. so that the gun toters are mesmerised into never shooting again??
