btw I will bring the samples with meon the meet tommorow so those that are coming (Boddie and fourwings thus far) can have a deckers | yes bring them please
I like this sort of thing - simple design |

After a family debate my wife insisted on a stag, so I had a mess about and lay my poor artistic skills at your mercy. I think the stag is a good choice, certainly wild and quite British.
I would also be suprised if the link to my badge works.

| | | Re: WAB Badge I like both Tormentil's design (shame the lettering would be too small) and jonny.go.go's Stag. Might I suggest if we go with the Stag emblem that the design shows a little of its body too, so that its not mistaken for a hunting trophy. |

| | | Re: WAB Badge I do hope it goes the enamel metal badge route? Paper encased button badges are "Sooo last year darling".
Id pay for a real enamel badge....button badges have a temporary feel and go all mouldy and mis coloured if they get wet.
I havent seen many of the designs as its a long thread but i did like boddies first design on his ideas post? the Fly Agaric ! Its very cool and would be nice as a SHAPED enamel badge and if your an allman brothers fan like me it kills 2 birds with one stone ( which isnt very conservation minded...killing two birds...but only using one stone saves energy....and stones i guess?)
Oooh actually tormentils is great too ! but could it be done as a round enamel and not a paper button please? |

I'll just take the 2 please.
Does the badge have to be round? Is it more expensive to produce one that is an outline of a mushroom? I like the Stag but I must say first impression is of either a anti or pro-hunting group. I may be the only one who thinks that though so don't mind me. The only thing a mushroom badge wearer may be mis-identified as is a hippy/crusty/mushroom fancier really but without the dreadlocks.

One thing I spotted though is that you seem to have saxonraven down twice. She increased her request from 1 to 4 but you have both on the list. |

| | | Re: WAB Badge well i was a hippy and i did have dreadlocks once so im ok ! but im with you on the shaped rather than round option ...i have seen many enamel badges in the shape of the design.
Im also with you on the stag anti/pro hunting malarky....Im not going to let you all know if im anti or pro hunting but i could see it causing grief wearing the badge. |
