At last i have finally got through all the photos so now I can show you some of our lovely holiday in Euro Disney.We travelled first class on the euro express and what a lovely comfortable ride it was.The worst of the travelling was getting to Waterloo with all the luggage pushchair and wheelchair and going through the customs.After that it was plain sailing and our luggage was in our rooms when we got them.Then came the best part.Out we went on the hunt for all the things we knew Alycia would like.Getting to see the shows and all her favourite charactors.We packed a week into 4 days and had a wonderful time although we were rushing around for hours but it was all worth it to see her face.Rhys had a fine time on the ice skating with mum and dad taking turns so he had quality time to.Jazzy managed to get lost in the restaurant we were eating in one night.Talk about panic found her ok though,she had gone upstairs and when my daughter found her she was quite happily leaning over the banisters at the top of the stairs  No fear that one she should have been a boy.Here is one of the first photos
Alycia and I 
It was a wonderful time but very emotional too.Alycia didnt have to queue to see her favourites as being disabled they brought the charactors to her or took her there in front of all the other kids queueing. 
This is one with micky with all of us.She always held out her arms and called there names and her little face lit up like a beacon   
This next one we nearly missed Donald as he was going back in after his half hour stint but when he saw Alycias being pushed at a run after him he stopped for her and the other charactors joined in too 
This next one is of Rhys and I when we went to the pirate ship while Alycia went somewhere which was more to her taste 
Alycia at a show 
The last three were the most tearjerking.
It was our last day and we hadnt seen Snow white which was the top of Alycias list.My son in law went to the town hall and asked for some Disney Magic and boy did they go for it.They phoned around tried to organise something then someone escorted us to the castle.they were going to take us to the dressing rooms but in the meantime kept in touch with each other through the wlkie talkies.They had found her in the castle surrounded by other children.The girl with us went to speak to her and she came out through the crowd straight to Alycia.For once Alycia was speechless where b4 she shouted out their names she was overcome.Snow White knelt to Alycia and talked for some time and then asked Alycia if she could give her a kiss. 
Well Alycia will never let anyone kiss her if they have lipstick on but she said yes.My husband and I by this time had tears running down as did some strangers and her mum and dad.It was such a beautiful moment even if it was emotional.I will never forget this moment.Afterwards all we could get out of Alycia was "Snow White,Kiss,Lipstick which she proudly pointed to long after it wore off.I will never forget the kindness of all the friends and strangers who made this holiday what it was by donations and the disneyland people for going out of there way to make a special little girl so happy  
Hope you have enjoyed these photos it was so hard to pick which ones to show as they all showed Alycia and the family having a  MAGICAL DISNEYTIME

Hi CB, so pleased to see that Alycia had a great holiday and so nice to know that everyone went out of their way to make it so special for Alycia. Thanks for showing us the great pics, she is a darling little girl.

yes it was there were so many magical moments.There were always special places set aside for the disabled for shows and parades and the wonderful thing was that it didnr matter where Alycia was the charactors she had already met.(all the princesses and Micky and Minnie) always spotted Alycia in the crowds and blew kisses to her.When Alycia blew one back one of them caught it and hugged it to her chest.Also on our last night our charactor dinnerwas in the beautiful Disney Hotel.minnie came in and saw Alycia at the end of the room and put out her arms and ran to her.I was choking down the tears as despite so many people and children Alycia seemed to stand out to the charactors and it was so special

Roger | Thank you Roger she puts us all to shame as even when she felt ill and was sick every morning she would still smile eat her breakfast and be raring to go with that so special smile on her face

I had tears in my eyes reading this, Cherrybee. Alycia looks like a child who would draw people to her whatever the circumstances. Love to you all.

Yo CB. they are fantastic. aaaaawwww Alycia looks as though she really had a good time bless her. I hope to be getting a DATA DVD with all of the photos on it soon. I have been very patient.

Cherrybee, thanks for sharing these photos. So pleased that you all had a wonderful time.
Is your hospital trip the one that was cancelled last time? I hope it goes according to plan this time.

PS.. the dogs say hi to Tammy.. how is she? | Thanks everyone and yes it is the hernia op that has been cancelled a few times Tammy is doing very well she had a holiday at my friends house while I was in Disney and also had a wonderful time going out in the car and to a dinner party where she was spoilt rotten and to my friends allotment too.Thanks to all for your lovely comments

Since going back to Surrey Alycia has now gone back to school.She can only manage the afternoons but it was her wish to go.All her friends were so pleased to see her again.The make a wish foundation made another wish come true for Alycia last Friday and they all had a wonderful time.For those who are interested here is the link to her story.Also have a look around the site it is fantastic what they do for terminally ill children Make-A-Wish Foundation® UK - Wishes - Alycia meets Big Dave!

I only wish I had been with her when she met Dave she has loved him since she was a very little girl and she used to watch fun school factory every day.Dave used to use macaton sign language which is especially good for down syndrome and she learnt an awful lot from watching.It is still a favourite of hers on video and dvd as it isn't on tv anymore mores the pity, as she loved the singing and dancing and still has a go even though she cannot keep it up for long.She tends to just bounce up and down where she is sitting and does all the expressions and arm movements.It is so lovely to watch, she smiles and giggles all the time especially if she knows you are watching and if you clap she bows

well Cherrybee, what a wonderful time you seemed to have - it must have been exhausting, but what an experience. I loved seeing your photo's - what a lovely family you have.
The Make a wish foundation does an amazing job making their dreams come true - what stars they all are.
