Channel 4

I think Channel 4 could have changed the title of their 9 o'clock program tonight.

The word IS could have been changed to WAS and the word STILL to EVER.

That would have been a better title - and the answer would have been NO

Re: Channel 4

Well I thought he was very funny
He could make me laugh without ever using an F word, not many "funny" men (or women) can manage to do that today.
OK the slapstick stuff may not be all that PC today, but if my old Mother laughed at it without being offended, then why shouldn't I?
Horses for courses?

Bovvered? I ain't bovvered, face, look, bovvered?

And me, don't know how others say she's excellent must be a matter of taste, or I am getting old.

That was D1ck Emery (dodgy spelling ?), I agree Benny Hill wasn't funny although the milkman song was. Give me Eddie Izzard any day.

Re: Channel 4

My dad loves Benny Hill and even looks like him! I remember him well
I do like comedy but there isn't that much around, Ricky G does make me laugh bits of Jam and jerusalem are funny, I saw Wallace and Grommit to-day and that made me laugh.

Dont have one of those either... furniture faces the rest of the furniture.... sitting area at one end of 25ft long room..the end wall has huge mirror and settee under.... dining table at other end.. with other end wall covered in book shelves. ... low divider two thirds of the way along with my desk against it in the sitting area... lovely room... open and spacious and seating can be anywhere... not trapped by a tv .... or fireplace
