| | | Sings Ain't What They Used To Be Growing up during the 70s, Christmas meant Slade and Wizzard (And Hey Santa from UK Subs - but that's just me!). But recent years have seen Christmas number 1s being generally talentless slop related to reality tv shows.
And Macey Gray's Winter Wonderland? I had to check I wasn't on the Disney channel - thought it was Donald Duck's cover!
Apart from that, have a great Festive season! |

| | | Re: Sings Ain't What They Used To Be I heard that carols are pagan songs while hymns are christian, this from an important
chap on radio 4 (must be true)
I love the Christmas songs and tunes everything from slade to white christmas as long
as they stop in the new year, these and fireworks should be kept special for a limited
period only

Love it or hate it when you hear Slade you know it's Christmas.

jaki | I would but I have an extra large toblerone to get through first - and when i left the office before chrimbo we had somewhere in the region of 6kg of roses chocs to get through which could keep us going for a couple of weeks into the new year.

| | | Re: Sings Ain't What They Used To Be It is more of a waste to eat something that is bad for you than it is to throw it away! It took me years to work that out, after being brought up to clear my plate by a wartime Mum, in spite of being the wrong side of slim!
