Must be difficult when you have to go to different schools all the time/ leave friends behind etc. Have moved a few times, don't mind it too much but it can be a nightmare. Quite exciting though.

I see. Sorry, a blonde moment. I am a RAF child. So a blue.

I'd rather be a blue than a brown jobbie

Yes, people argue about which is most stressful of divorce, removal or bereavment - I'd rather be dead than move again! The wife might have other views on which is worst/best .....

From the sound of boddie's cooking, I suspect I might prefer to move house .... mind, for a small fee ...... well, quite a large fee might be necessary ....

I've borrowed a puter for 5 minutes

Thanks for your good wishes, they must have paid off cos the move went really well and we are loving our new home.

I need to get started on the garden now.

Love to you all .....

Well done, hope it continues well .... don't worry too much about the garden at the moment, I'm sure you'll find something else to occupy you!

Re: Wishing you a very merry Christmas

Hi Susie,
Glad you're ok! Less is more, as I have discovered with this garden, which I would have destroyed if I'd had the energy when we first got here! There were lots of things I'd have got rid of, like lots of the yew trees, lots of the cotoneaster, unknown and unlovely shrubs, which, now they've shed their leaves, are providing shelter for many birdfeeders hidden right inside the ball of branches, self-seeded buddlias, just because there are 'too many' of some of these, but now I see the bird population increasing, and the profusion of berries being enjoyed, I'm so glad I held back. Have alovely relaxing Christmas.

Re: Wishing you a very merry Christmas

Happy Christmas to all members and guests.
Spare a thought for those on their own now the milkman is an endangered species and the postman speaks only Polish
Do not neglect your feeders and drinking water for your garden visitors
Have a checklist for the Christmas Dinner,so nothing gets left in the back of an overcrowded oven
Keep your reciepts
Keep your temper and smile alot (alchohol is useful here)
Have a lovely time whatever your faith
HAPPY CHRISTMAS

That's it, thanks! One of the few 'seasonal' songs that stand out. Cheers.
