Guy's Head

I am convinced that I read a book part of which was set at Guy's Head. It was a Richard Hannay TYPE of book in that it was part spy part adventure. I can not now remember the name of the book.. and despite various google and wiki searches am not able to find it.

I wonder if anyone here can put me out of my misery.
btw... I live near Guy's Head in Lincs which keeps it in mind.

Please help, I am going mad trying to find this
Thanks,jaki

Re: Guy's Head

Was it a John Buchan book, such as the Free Fishers etc?

Re: Guy's Head

Thank you all for your replies. None of the searches I had done came up with anything.

Alan, I had in mind John Buchan when I thought of the book.. am currently reading all his books online in an attempt to find it. Amazing what we will go through for the sake of some little niggle.. mind.. I have always enjoyed his books and those of that type.

Honeybee, will try that one thanks

eeyore.. there you go.. its like looking up a word in the dictionary.. you nearly always find something more interesting than the original query

Thanks again all of you
