Verreaux's sifaka

Just for those who can't access WAW, here is the lovely and beautiful Verreaux's Sifaka. The photographs were taken at Berenty Nature reserve where the lemurs are pretty tame and I was lucky enough to arrive before the bulk of tourists and while chasing after a butterfly I found myself in the centre of a group of dozing sifaka which hardly blinked an eye as I sat amongst them unfortunately my camera batter ran out and when I returned to the group a large group of tourists had arrived and they loud shouting and pointing at these lovely animals caused them to move away. I was very lucky to get the time that I did with these gorgeous animals. They even danced across the ground between trees right in front of me absolutely fantastic if ever I was blessed it was that quiet moment.....
