| | | Most valuable piece of kit Having just purchased a lovely new 19 inch monitor I am beginning to realise the importance of investing properly in a good model.
This new monitor is good for looking at the web in general, and even watching films, but the quality of images is not a patch on my 15 inch Dell monitor. Some of the kite shots I took at the weekend are lovely on the Dell but god awful on this monitor.
I now realise just how much difference there is in monitor quality and can see how people view images with different opinions. |

BenQ FP783 (only a 17") my son has a 19" Samsung 930BF superb accurate colours and very
fast refresh rate (as is my BenQ)
Current recommendation for graphics HP LP2065 20" MONITOR £387
Or a 32" LCD TV 32LC2D by LG!
Oh! and Philips do a 20" 200W6CS also vg £264
if only santa were real!

Jeff | They are both flat screen. I dont much rate the new flat screen TV's either. Up close they look poorer than my scabby old Sanyo |

Some also have extra "hidden" factory settings which you can tweak to gain better results ... Certainly worth a quick google.
