Well done SW. Great contributor to the site and a good sense of humour to boot!

Well done, again.
Is that your bus or are you a collector? It's a more interesting colouring than all the big company ones spread over the country .... Is there a key for identifying where you are from the 'bus livery?

Sadly I do photograph buses and puffa and brum brum trains as well as traipse along long lost canals .... sometimes walking on the water.

Butterflies are my first and true love.

The bus is a picture of one of the big companies .... ARRIVA. You have those nice pinkish ones from First Group in Sheffield (or StageCoach for the Trams). Of course working on the railway for all those years meant that I ended up working for a train operator that was owned by what had been the old National Bus Company.

Re: Speckled Wood's 1000th

Trains, even diesels have a lot of character but I must admit I've never seen much charm in buses! Things looking up on the railway BBC NEWS | UK | Network Rail makes first profit at last. And, of course, next year we'll be able to do Sheffield to Avignon without traipsing across London Eurostar to launch passenger services at St Pancras International on Wednesday 14 November 2007 ......
