If there is one it's probably been let loose by some idiot who bought it as a pet when it was small and couldn't cope with it when it was fully grown,I can't understand people keeping these exotic creatures as pets they should be running ( or swimming ) free.  |

i do have a few 'exotics' so to speak, but they are captive bred and i ensure i look after them and provide everything they need. it is unfortunate that there are alot being released as it is cruel to the animals and even more worrying some are surviving and are having effects on our own wildlife and environment, just read the report on non-native species.
i have recently seen some turtles down in the ivy area of greater london, could be remnants of the teenage mutant ninja turtle craze.... |
