Question weird insects in my house

hello people my name is sab and i was woundering if anyone could help me find out whats going on with these orange spiders i've encounterd in my house they are not like any spider ive ever seen before,my partner and i recently went to berlin for a weeks holiday and we read in the local paper that there was a new type of very poisionous spider on the loose, maybe this is just a co-incidense but we actually saw one of these spiders and was told to stay way clear from it ( my partner said it jumped at her when she went near it - but not seeing this cannot really comfirm this - in all fairness you know what some girls are like) any way if any one can give me more info on this please send me an email at sabsterbigwilly@hotmail.co.uk thanx also while we on the subject of weird insects has anyone seen or been told about orange/yellow lady-birds with white spots this too is another insect i have never seen before and it was also in my house or should i refrase that last sentence to i have it in a tuppawear container in my room its still alive and i intend to let it free as well but im going to take pictures of it first. thanks to all who respond and if anyone would really like to talk to me in person my number is 07748066646 take care and hope to hear from someone soon. sabastian and nikola

Hi Sab,

How big are your spiders? From the description they could be red spider mites-harmless (to humans, less so to house-plants) relatives of spiders.
The ladybird is either cream-spot, or orange ladybird both of which should be in the gallery.

Yes, photos are always helpful - even if not of 'great' quality! Good luck
