| | | Planet Earth Just watched the first of the new series - what a fantastic programme & well worth the TV licence fee in itself.

Jeff | quite so , I havent got a tv here but a mate is taping it (well actually DVDing it) for me cos its looks amazing from the trailers. The only thing I dont fancy is the lions vs elephants one, I know its just nature and perfectly natural etc etc but I'm not sure i can stomach watching a baby heffalump get pulled down by 30 or so lions

Yes making more copies of those copies is against the law. What was I thinking.

| | | Re: Planet Earth Stunning programme! Had to feel sorry for the Polar Bear- all that effort swimming + to curl up + die from Walrus tusk wounds. Pleased they rescued penguin chick- a well deserved case for intervention I thought.
And who will view Eiders the same way again- have always loved the sound they make, puts a smile on my face everytime! Look forward to rest of series now. |

| | | Re: Planet Earth It was an amazing programme - extremely well done and some of the best footage that I have ever seen. I take my hat off to the camera men/women and the hardship they had to go through to make the programme. I am not sure I would like to live in a shack with a polar bear peering through the window at me - a hungry one at that!

| | | Re: Planet Earth Absolutely brilliant
For some reason I thought it was going to be a repeat of the first series, so didn't watch it until last night ( on demand) , I think I will watch it again and again | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
