A friend called a while back to tell me the field at the back of her house is covered in PFGs, and in the middle of all these are three Whooper Swans. She just thought it would make me jealous. It did.. so I thought I would pass it on.. jealousy an' all.

I have been watching quite a few Skeins of Pink Feets over the weekend. I finished off at Holme today and strangely three huge Skeins were drifting across the Wash from Lincs back to the Norfolk coast. They must be feeding over in Lincolnshire and roosting up in Norfolk.
Always good to watch these fabulous birds.

I went out to watch them last night flying east.. guess they are feeding and resting as you suggested John.. and as I stood outside my back door a blackbird popped up onto the fence about two feet from me.. looked at me... pooped.. and flew off raising the alarm... I am not that ugly... honest
