That "Feeling" of being watched or stalked

Following on from a posting on the British Insects Forums about whether Spiders "know" if they are being watched by humans I related the following incident that happend to me ... may have posted similar before.

>> I remember an incident when I was walking along the towpath of the Montgomery Canal near Welshpool, I had the "feeling" that I was being watched, looked around but could see nothing but as I walked the "feeling" was still with me I looked again and saw nothing and continued walking but the "feeling" was still there so I looked around again and then I saw a movement in the water, and spotted my "stalker". the watcher was a large Carp which had been following me, and if ever a fish could sit up and "beg" that Carp was doing it, I found a biscuit and broke it up and threw it to the Carp. Evidently this Carp had done this before knowing that it would probably have food thrown to it.<<

Just woondered whether other have experienced similar "fishy" stalkings, or of having had similar from other supposedly less "intelligent" animals such as reptiles and amphibians or even invertebrates.

Lol - never had it with animals, only with people. Creepy.
