I think it would be a good idea to have a get together to discuss a possible WAB outings schedule for next year. With a bit of brainstorming and a good supply of ale we should able to come up with some ideas to cover most areas of the UK.
What do you think? |

There is no need to firm up until about march / april time, or perhaps even later. Just let me know when you need to know and we will firm it up then.

What do you think? | Ooph that sounds like a masterplan. Somewhere conveniently situated for as many people as possible. Somewhere central. Birmingham maybe. Or perhaps Coventry or Leicester. |

Just kidding. I am open to suggestions and would love to join up with you guys to decide a fixture for the year.
I was thinking. if we left the SW meet to perhaps the 14th or 21st of July then we could organise a Bempton Cliffs meet for mid June.
There is a current meet that may go on for the last weekend in April and that is at Minsmere. There are a few of us already going to that so that could be added to the list. Hopefully I will be in Lesbos from May 3rd so if May is on the agenda then it would have to be the 26th for me and if that was possible then how about Norfolk.

| | | Re: W.A.B Titchwell day out Puffins were at Bempton last June, but not in any large numbers. We managed some half decent shots, but you can't get too close there. Both John and myself missed the actual meet there, but I had a good day the day before. It's certainly a site I want to return to. |

There is no need to go that far. The Farne Islands host usually around 35,000 of them and you can get down eye ball to eye ball with them. Here is a link to what i am talking about. Seahouses - Farne Islands Boat Trips

| | | Re: W.A.B Titchwell day out I'm going out to the welsh islands again this spring / summer - puffins guaranteed , plus the infamous camera kiling rib trip to grassholm for diving gannets - be happy to organise this as a wab meet if folk are interested.
