off at a tangent, my favourite tea pot has met its end but replacing it seems to be a problem many do not pour well or are either too big or too small
any ideas?  |

Time to get down to your local pottery and get them to make you one to your own design, or get them to teach you how to make it 
Did you see River Cottage on the TV last week? A potter made Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall a few chicken pots for his oven and they were great pieces of craftmanship.
Getting the local potter to make one would have probably been the norm just 50 years ago and it would be an instant conversation piece everytime you pour a cuppa for someone |

We've used a pouring flask (i.e. one with a lip) for about 18 years now. It keeps the tea much hotter for longer - thereby saving electricity too! Not quite as nice as having one made to your own design by a potter though, is it? |

anyone got a local potter?,there are some wonderful teapots about,someone must make them, pictures of unusual ones?
I know it is a wildlife site but I do get wild if I do not get a good cup of tea! | |
