for now I'll stick to the xmas presents - Primal Scream , Rooster, Ugly kid joe, and aerosmith although sadly living at home now I cany play loud music late at night anymore - taping them to listen to in the car tho
although that said a nice young lady has ripped me a copy of the frede le grande album/ep - i hated get your hands up when it came out, but shes into all that stuff so it may have to grow on me ..... like fungus probably

As someone pointed out on the radio earlier Depeche Mode have sold 75 million albums and played to 2 million people last year, and still get no recognition. The most remixed band in history and never a mention, so its no great shakes |

Especially when you consider some of the acts they've given the life time achievement to in the past.
It's all a bit of a joke really. Somebody, somewhere, decides that certain bands are flavour of the month and they crop up in every category.

I just dont get Lily Allen. Singing street despite all the privilege she had. She used to sing ballads in restaurants but was no doubt steered in the direction of popular youth culture? It doesnt work for me. |
