| | | Hospital Quicky I've been preped for tomorrow, things have been brought forward & with a bit of luck I'll be out in the evening. When I went onto the ward the staff nurse started laughing at my green beard & we're getting on fine. At the moment I'm in her office, behind closed doors, using the landline to get this to you all. I've sent an email to The Green Dragon & am waiting on a reply, I'll post as soon as it comes in. I have to go soon as the doc is coming round at 6pm. Food here is atrocious but what do you expect on the NHS.
On the way here saw a young Buzzard getting mobbed so hard the crows drove it into the ground, poor thing, it was a bit shaken but got the hell out of there.
Hope to have some time tonight around 8pm so see you then, I hope.
EH

| | | Re: Hospital Quicky All the best EH, I hope things go well for you. You must have sweet talked that staff nurse into letting you use her phoneline (assuming she knows )
p.s. I think that green beard deserves an appearance in the Members Mugshots thread once you're out of hospital

EH | Staff nurse. Office. She'll be a Sister mate. The ones to look after. Sounds like you've sweet talked her well. You'll have to let me into your secret. Would make my job alot easier |

And many thanks to Matt_xyz, Jonny, honeybee & Garden Carpet along with Gizmo & Twizzle Not forgetting Deer Stalker.
Wild-Woman, how dare you get there before me , well done & thanks.
I do feel at home here at WAB, you've all been a great support. Some of us will meet at Winter Solstice, maybe we'll have to do another Moot next year so more can come together, after all, this is one big happy WAB family. We should look out for eachother.
I'm going to take a look around the forums before Sue gets back.
Take care all of you
EH

| | | Re: Hospital Quicky Sue has just introduced me to Kathy, the Night Sister, so I can still play. I've turned most of the nurses on to Ashes & Snow, while we were exploring it the Doc came in & she's now hooked. Said it should be shown on the wards as it was very therapeutic.
And eeyore, Sue has seen your post & asked me who you were. How do I answer? I showed her your profile & she laughed & said Milton Keynes hasn't changed
We may find we have some new members soon, the Doc, Sylvia, is a birder, & likes the woods & moors. Sue & her husband Tom, who's here now, have asked me to their Samhain night, to do some yarnweaving. Tom said there will be lots of mead & good food, well I ask you, do I turn it down... So we might have our ow medical team, you never know.
honeybee, I like the sound of that, woods with a clearing would be great, then I can really play at night, around the fire.
I have to go somewhere to get rid of something now See you in the morning before 10.
EH

I ordered some Moniack Mead yesterday. I love the cheap Banquet Mead I got form Vitis Wines last year but have never tried the highly recommended Moniack. Couldn't find a supplier online for ages to sell me just a single bottle (didn't want a case in case it wasn't to my taste and I can't afford it either to be honest), but that was due to the fact I kept spelling Moniack wrong
Now I'm looking out for the courier who should deliver it today or tomorrow at the latest. Will have a little sample when it comes and save the rest for 31st. |

| | | Re: Hospital Quicky Hi Y'all, they've kicked me out after taking little bits of me to test. Back home & feeling a bit sore. Have been told that my local GP will get the results & contact me at the time.
Many, many thanks to you all for your support as I have said, it's great having such a large family around me. And Alan, Cernunnus was sure with me, he's left his mark in a strange dream I had last night.
Now I can get back into the world of WAB & Rabbit on to my harts content.
L&B to you all,
EH

I hope they do join, it'll be fun having them onboard.
