WAB fundraising

I wondered if a nature related quiz might be a way of raising some funds for WAB, so I've put this one together as a sample. Future quizes could have, say, 50 questions and be submitted with a confirmed donation in order to win a prize. Prize dependent on entries. Have a go - I'll give it a week before closure on this occasion. No answers on the site please. I'll just try to keep it bumped so as many as poss. have a go at it.

This is just a trial run, basically to see if members are interested in the concept. On this occasion it's just for fun. So a bit of feedback exclusively on the subject will be appreciated. I'll post the answers next week and those who've had a go at it can check their answers.

If we do set more quizes in the future - perhaps 5 per year, a confirmed donation of a fiver would cover the members entries and prizes could be given for the winners.

Thanks for your offer ofthe British nature quiz you've devised - I'd be happy to receive it by pm if you're happy for me to use it. (Incidentally, these sort of quizes raise money locally where I live so I might just put them out for public consumption too, to increase fundraising).

This first one is intended to be a freebie, to see whether members and visitors would like to have a regular quiz. However, if folk feel they'd like to have a formal competition on this occasion please let me know and we'll see what we can do. I'm sure a postal order would be fine as a method of donation. I think it's a great idea. We could have quizes on a number of topics throughout the year. Do some of the questions relate to members of WAB re: names of people?

No, as far as I am aware none of the answers is the name of a WAB member - at least not intentionally. This time the replies refer to weather generally speaking.
