One tip I learned through trial and error this morning is to make sure you select 'TCP/IP' from your connection options on the AOL sign-in screen or else it'll keep trying to tell you to use a dial-up access number.
Oh, and when it asks for your screen name use lower case letters or you'll fail the '5 green buttons' test like I did .

To get the router must I go back under contract for another 12 months?
Does anyone know? |

Does anyone know? | I honestly don't know, but what I would suggest is letting them think that you're on the brink of leaving AOL altogether and see what kind of offers they make you!

Things seem ok at this end so far, just have to wait for Dad to get is PCI adapter then I can add Dad to the network and we're rockin'

Jaki | If you have a look at the diagram in your little booklet, you'll see that one computer is plugged in via the firewire cable at all times and the rest are wireless 'satellites' so I'm assuming that the computer you've got it set up on now will have to have that firewire cable in permenantly as it's the 'brain' of the network and any other computers you or your family want to use to get online will have a wireless adapter attached in the form of either a USB adapter or a PCI card.

But, I'd recommend a good nights sleep first before you do battle with it again, or you'll melt your brain for the entire weekend .
Nite nite
