| | | Rothamsted Open Weekend Britains premier agricultural research station (163 years old this year) is opening its doors to the public for its annual open day on the 30th Sept and 1st Oct. RRes - Open weekend for the public
Come and check it out & see if you can spot me (I'll be manning an exhibit on the sunday afternoon).
I can guarantee you will learn a good deal about agricultural & ecological science in this country. |

Matt | Hope the link below works...
Best way to get to Rothamsted from the M25 is to come off at junction 21A and head through St Albans on the A1081, Rothamsted is well signposted (opposite the cricket pitch).
Hope to see you there... Map of United Kingdom | Multimap.com |

| | | Re: Rothamsted Open Weekend So....How many WABbers were in the 9,000-11,000 people who turned up for open weekend?
It was a great success with many positive comments coming from visitors. If anything there were too many people with the Plant & Insect Ecology Division experiencing the human equivalent of a log-jam and the cream teas selling out early on both days.
Those who came-thanks for showing an interest and I hope it lived up to your expectations.
Those who missed it-try again in five or so years time. | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
