Trouble is Eeyore we have the original hound from hell in charge of the suite. We are not even allowed to Email without requesting. Don't know whether WAB is ready for 400 new members under 11. Poor Graham. He'd have to carry his delete button round with him!!! And it wouldn't be us lot....it'd be the kids!!!!!!

Julie.........Does the school have a wireless network ? If so you could get a pda, stick in a wireless sd card and your away. It would be like being a naughty school girl again (bet you were) sneaking off to the loo's for a bit of WAB.........

Hi! WW- what you do is- call it essential research and you must use your lunch time to prepare for the afternoon session or if that fails take over responsibility for IT so you control access to computers! Have a good term!

Sadly no Jonny. Too much of a security risk with the ankle biters i'm afraid.
Might get a cable 3 miles long all the way from my house and take my laptop!

Re: How to survive without WAB 24/7

I also have to reurn to work after 6 weeks on Monday, but to 1000 11 - 16 year olds!!! I am consoling myself with the fact that it is only the 29th time that I have returned after the summer holiday, so only another 12 of these and I can get a full pension!!!

I did, bendog, being early retired and all that. Spot of gardening, lawn mowing, enjoying the sunshine etc. - and never saw any schoolchildren! Roll on your retirement?

Re: How to survive without WAB 24/7

Staff Development Day here too - otherwise known as GCSE Results Inquest Day! Tomorrow we have just the new Year 7 pupils in, while on Wednesday they all return en masse. We will be going over to our new initiative - vertical tutor groups!!! (For those not in education - registration groups containing pupils from all 5 years in our school)>

We too had a training day on Risk Assessment! Now I'm not taking pupils anywhere or even moving out of the classroom! If we are wise we'll just stay in bed!

Re: How to survive without WAB 24/7

I have only been here two days and already wonder how I lived without it. I dont work anymore due to health reasons.. sad innit... but it does mean I have time to sit at the laptop all day long and enjoy the benefits of WAB. I wondered if I might apply for the post of caretaker while all you lot are at work? What do you think?
